2012 MotoGP World Championship calendar

The world of Moto GP is gearing up for an awesome season in 2012. The calendar is ready and the fans are waiting with bated breath for the upcoming season. The 2011 season as in every aspect a perfect racing season for the fans and they expect the races in 2012 to take the level of excitement to a different level. The thrill and adventure accompanying the sport is unparalleled and the two wheelers zooming past the viewers are all set to take fresh guard in the year 2012. The season will kick off on the 8th April at the Losail circuit with the Qatar Grand Prix.

Following the inaugural race of the season will be a series of great racing circuits all set to be burned by the wheels of these Moto GP champions. The races at the Spanish, Portuguese and the French Grand Prix will be as pulsating as ever. The three big races at the British GP, the Catalan GP and the Dutch GP in the month of June are sure to make June a blessing for motorbike racing lovers. The racing teams then move from Europe to the United States of America in the month of July. The journey will continue across the globe and will halt in Asia for the Japanese GP on the 14th of October. The racing fever then shifts to Malaysia followed by the Grand Prix in Australia.

The season will meet its conclusion in the beautiful city of Valencia and the Valencian Grand Prix on the 11th of October will mark the end of the racing season for 2012

The defending champion Casey Stoner and his team Honda will once again be ready to defend their titles against the highly competitive opponents and teams. 2012 again is sure to throw up some of the most entertaining races in history as the former champion Valentino Rossi will attempt to get back to winning ways with his team, Ducati. The season will also see the introduction of new moto3 class 4-stroke bikes.
