Strikeforce is an MMA and kickboxing organization based in the United States of America. The events or the fights in held in the strikeforce are immensely popular among the masses and are telecast on the various channels in America, Europe and Asia. The organization has many events lined up for the year 2012 and it is predicted that in 2012 Strikeforce will go beyond the expectations of its fans. Some of the best Mixed Martial Arts fighters have been brought together by Strikeforce to make this an entertaining year for its fans.

The first fight of the year 2012 for Strikeforce will take place on the 7th of January 2012. Titled Strikeforce: Rockhold vs Jardine, this event at the hard Rock hotel Casino will kick off an action packed season. The event will feature a middleweight championship bout between Luke Rockhold and Keith Jardine. The event will also feature many other exciting MMA and kickboxing clashes featuring many stars of the strikeforce circuit. They will battle each other in different categories and in Main card and Preliminary card.

The next event planned is the Strikeforce 39 scheduled for the 3rd of March 2012. The event will be held at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. The major feature at the event will be Josh Barnett taking on Daniel Cormier in the finals of Strikeforce’s Heavyweight Grand Prix. The event will coincide with the Arnold Sports festival, which attracts 150000 spectators every year.

Strikeforce is expected to announce the remaining dates soon, but the fans should be rest assured that they will witness some high octane action. Athletics however starts on the 3rd of August and will draw tremendous attention of the fans and spectators. Taekwondo and Wrestling also begin a lot later than the other sports.
