The World Wrestling Federation is all set for yet another year of hard-core wrestling action. The WWE Schedule 2012 promises not only great match-ups but great events lined up one after the other. The World Wrestling Federation has the highest viewership among the other wrestling powerhouses in the USA and its pay-per-view events in 2012 just like 2011 are expected to be highly successful.

The WWE flags off year 2012 with the telecast of the ‘WWE Supershow’ on the 2nd of January and the first big pay-per-view event the ‘Royal Rumble’ which will be held on the 29th of January. The action packed year gets off to an explosive start with the World Heavyweight Championship and the WWE title being fought for at the ‘Royal Rumble’.

The end of January will see the stars go on a world tour starting on the 4th of February. The Elimination Chamber is expected to take place in the month of February but the dates have not been announced. April Fool’s Day will witness one of WWE’s most popular events. The ‘Wrestlemania XXVIII’ like always is expected to have the highest TV viewership.

As the year progresses ‘Viewer’s Choice’ a pay-per-view event will be held in the month of June. The event has replaced ‘Capitol Punishment’. September 16 is the tentative date for a new event ‘Wild Card’ that has replaced ‘Night of Champions’. The WWE calendar is summed up with the return of the blockbuster event, ‘King of the Ring’ on 16th of December 2012. The event replaces WWE TLC and is certain to attract large viewership.
